Michael M. Wesley

Mr. Wesley has over 40 years of experience in the Automotive and Industrial Automation Industry. He started his career as a field service technician in 1977 working at Ford Stamping Plants and General Motors Assembly and Powertrain Plant supporting Microcomputer Control Systems for assembly and quality control processes. He also work at RETS from 1979 to 1984 as an Electrical and Electronics Instructor. He was hired by the Chrysler Corporation in 1984 and held various technical training and project and program management positions over his career. He retired from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2015. He started teaching at the LCISD Ed-Tech Center as the CTE Instructor for Mechatronics and Robotics in 2017.
Mr. Wesley enjoys teaching Industrial Automation because it is an opportunity to give back to the community by helping young adults prepare for their career choices. Mr. Wesley believes that the greatest reward is to see the students grow, make good decisions and to be career and college ready when they leave the LCISD Ed-Tech Center. Outside of work, Mr. Wesley enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He has been active with the Boy Scouts of America Program as an adult leader since 1993. He is a Detroit Red Wings fan and enjoys watching hockey.
